About the project
We're strengthening the retaining wall on Tanera Crescent between Ohiro Road and Helen Street in Brooklyn.
The retaining wall at this location supports the road reserve bank and the public footpath. It was assessed and identified as being in poor condition.
We're constructing anchors/shotcrete wall to strengthen the wall.
Construction began on 30 September 2024. It may take 10 weeks to complete it. Works will occur between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Retaining and Civil Construction Ltd has been engaged for this construction work.
Traffic management
During construction, Tanera Crescent between Ohiro Road and Helen Crescent will be closed from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, the road will be open for two-way traffic.
An alternative route will be available during the closure, and a traffic management plan is in place to show detours.
