In 2014, the Council was accepted into the 100 Resilient Cities (100RC). This boosted our ability to build upon existing work. In March 2017, we released the Wellington Resilience Strategy.
This strategy is a comprehensive and strategic roadmap to promote resilience in the Wellington region.
