About the strategy
The strategy was adopted on 5 August 2021.
Children and young people of Wellington are the future of our city. We have a diverse, youthful, creative, and talented population who are motivated by the challenges facing the city, Aotearoa and the world. The strategy is to celebrate and support them.
The strategy comes with an action plan to improve Council's existing work programme and adds new initiatives like developing a youth hub in the central city and building more skateparks and facilities.
