Wellington International Airport Limited – OLS designation (WIAL1)

The Airport’s Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) designation protects the airspace for the safe and efficient operation of Wellington International Airport.

It applies to most of Wellington City but varies in how it applies for each property. 

The Council are required to notify those directly affected by the Airport’s decision on the OLS designation.
