How you provide feedback: scenario question

It is important that members of our Advisory Groups are confident in voicing their opinions, debating respectfully, and can collaborate effectively to provide advice on matters brought before them.

Please review the fictional scenario below and respond in 300-500 words. You will be prompted to attach your response as part of your application for your chosen Advisory Group.

What happens next

Following the close date of applications, shortlisting will be conducted, and you will be contacted by email/phone if we’d like to invite you to attend a panel interview.

Panel interviews will be conducted between Tuesday 29 October and Friday 15 November. These will be around 30 minutes long and will take place at 113 The Terrace (with the exception of interviews for Youth Council which will be held at The Youth Hub Te Tai Ohinga – 203 Willis Street). Shortlisted candidates will be provided with more information on the interview format to help them prepare.

Following interviews, the next stage for candidates continuing in the process will be reference checking.

We hope to be able to confirm places in the Advisory Groups by Friday 29 November, ahead of the induction meeting on Tuesday 10 December.
