Remuneration and leave

We’re a Living Wage employer that provides competitive remuneration and various types of leave.

Remuneration

We offer competitive remuneration and have an annual remuneration review in July every year.

Our remuneration increases are based on a number of factors, including the role you are in, performance, progression and changes to the cost of living. We are proud to be a Living Wage Employer.

KiwiSaver

We provide employer contributions of 3% of your gross salary or wages to the scheme so long as you are contributing. We also continue to provide employer contributions to those who are over 65 years of age.

Leave

All our fixed-term and permanent kaimahi (employees) are entitled to 5 weeks of annual leave per year.

We also offer the following types of leave.

  • Discretionary paid leave – additional leave, up to 5 days per year which could be used for cultural purposes or other special circumstances. This leave is approved at the business unit manager's discretion.
  • Discretionary wellness leave – in addition to sick leave, available to permanent kaimahi who need a longer period of recovery when they have suffered from a severe illness or injury.
  • Parental leave – in addition to parental leave, if your partner becomes the primary carer we will pay partner leave of up to 2 weeks of your remuneration.
  • Study leave/exam leave – available to permanent kaimahi to support your studies.

Annual leave, discretionary leave and flexible working are my favourite benefits. Our team's "whānau first" approach is supported by these policies.
