We need instructors all year round at:
Full training provided
We provide full training, so you do not need to be an experienced swim instructor. However, you do need to have excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, enjoy the water and love working with kids.
The role of an aquatic education instructor is varied and includes teaching, administration, managing equipment, and health and safety.

We have inductions regularly throughout the year for permanent part-time aquatic education instructors.
There are a variety of shifts available. These are generally during school term times – weekdays and weekend hours are available. You could be looking for a return-to-work opportunity, a job to fit around your studies or an opportunity to kick-start your career with the Council.
