My wife and I chose Johnsonville as the place to raise our family almost 30 years ago. The greatest thing in my life is our three now adult children … I am very proud of my two daughters and son.

I have had a career focused on Information Technology with many roles including managing teams (large and small) in both the private and public sectors.  For the past 15 years I have mainly worked as a contract Business Analyst who works on large IT projects.  In this role I have written multi-million dollar business cases and taken great pleasure in delivering new and improved IT solutions. I enjoy working in a team helping them to understand how the business needs to work, understanding problems and helping solve them.

I have been involved in our community for the past 20 years through the Johnsonville Community Association (being president twice), and I am a Trustee of the Johnsonville Charitable Trust. I love our life in the Northern suburbs of Wellington and have championed many local issues to improve our communities over the years.

I am also a public transport advocate including being a member of the Greater Wellington Regional Council Public Transport Reference group. I have helped with many local issues including the Johnsonville roading upgrade and ensuring we avoided the worst of the 2018 Bus Debacle.

I will be continuing my efforts to help communities across the city as a Northern Ward city councillor.
