The Wellington Museums Trust trades as Experience Wellington.
Experience Wellington brings to life the city’s arts, culture and heritage taonga on Council’s behalf. Its year-round programme of exhibitions, events and experiences deliver a constant heartbeat of activity to the capital: enriching the lives of its visitors and strengthening the city. Experience Wellington is proud to leverage expertise, philanthropic and commercial opportunities to ensure that Council's assets are resilient, vibrant and working hard for Wellington.
Experience Wellington operates six visitor experiences for the Council:
The group trades as Experience Wellington and also supports the operation of the New Zealand Cricket Museum.
