Find out where your vehicle is
If you think your vehicle has been towed by the Council, phone our Contact Centre on 04 499 4444 and we will tell you where your vehicle has been moved to.
We may tow your vehicle if:
- it is blocking a driveway or access way
- it is parked illegally and is causing a problem
- it has to be moved to allow construction work or work on the road – for example, painting
Police may also be able to tell you where your vehicle is as we advise them of any vehicles we have towed. You can phone the Wellington Central Police Station on 0800 780 102 or phone your local Police station.
