- Receive the information.
- Agree that the Council again reconfirm that it wants to avoid the need for either compulsory residential water metering or major storage dams, and to this end is considering a range of means to promote water conservation and efficiency.
- Agree that the Council again reconfirm that it wants water services to remain publicly owned and managed on a not for profit basis.
- Agree to refer the petition to Officers to inform their work.
- Note that a report will be presented to the Strategy and Policy Committee meeting on 1 March 2011 that will include a response to the areas raised by this petition.
