See the Saints in action

MONDAY 21 APRIL | 3PM | TSB ARENA
Catch the action as the Saints go up against the Nelson Giants at TSB Arena. Doors open at 1:45pm, with the game starting at 3pm. Get in early and support our home team! Book your tickets now through Ticketmaster.

Take part in White Rabbit Easter at Tākina 

SUNDAY 20 APRIL | 12PM – 4PM | TĀKINA, TANGAROA FOYER
There is some extra special magic for kids happening at Tākina this Easter to celebrate Disney: The Magic of Animation. Join us for a free afternoon of Easter trail fun, face painting, balloons and more.

Go on an Easter egg hunt at the Cable Car 

FRIDAY 18 - MONDAY 21 APRIL | 8.30AM – 7PM | WELLINGTON CABLE CAR 
Hop your way up the hill this Easter to the Cable Car. The hunt will be on to find Easter eggs in the terminals and from within the cars. Grab your entry form from the ticket box and count the eggs; you will win a prize if you correctly find them all! More details can be found on the Cable Car website.

UNTIL 27 APRIL | TE PAPA
Designed and curated by the house of Vivienne Westwood and produced by Nomad Exhibitions, this touring exhibition dives into the extensive history of jewellery design and creation by the Vivienne Westwood house. Come and check out the exhibition before it closes on April 27.

Take note of changes to services and facilities over the Easter weekend

Our services and facilities change slightly on public holidays, so just a reminder that: 

  • There will be no rubbish and recycling collected on Good Friday (18 April), so please put it out on Saturday 19 April instead. Collections will happen as per normal on Easter Monday (21 April). 
  • On street metered parking is free around Wellington on public holidays.
  • Some facilities and services may have reduced hours or may be closed, you can find these out on our holiday hours webpage.
