1. Find our Hidden Gems

From epics views at Te Ara Papararangi to epic views at Oku Street Reserve - Pōneke is packed with tracks and spots that you may not know about.

We’ve picked out five of our favourite hidden gems in the city for you to discover.

Why not pack a picnic and head out on a different day to explore each one? Check them out.

2. Join one of our Holiday Programmes

Why not leave the planning to us? There are a range of awesome holiday programmes available at Tawa, Nairnville and Karori Recreation Centre, as well as the ASB Sports Centre.

All you need to do is book a spot in and we’ll do the rest. Find out more here.

3. Wander round the Matairangi Nature Trail

Spend some time outdoors and bring your tamariki to the extension of the Matairangi Nature Trail!

The trail has several play stations, and you’ll get to encounter stepping logs, balancing beams, a wobbly bridge, and all sorts of other fun challenges.

Sounds like a great day out to us! Check out the trail here
